Martha Scheffel is one of Munich's most experienced singing teachers. As a soprano trained on a United Nations and DAAD scholarship, she has performed on international stages from Munich to Tokyo, Seattle and Edinburgh, and now passes on decades of expertise to students of all levels.
Her approach is holistic: the whole person matters, not just the voice. Technique, expression, and personality are developed together — in an encouraging, professional atmosphere. Lessons are taught in German and English.

The foundation of my teaching is Bel Canto — the classical Italian school of singing that engages the entire body in performance. I accompany on the grand piano or with playback in my studio in Munich-Allach — a large, bright room with excellent acoustics.
